The Mo’shroom, the Rest of the Original Story!

I am pleased to share with you the rest of the story!

To recap the two previous blogs, the Mo’shroom wants to be left alone, but they are bothered by a variety of bugs and critters, like this frog.

But, something different happens when a rabbit comes along.

The rabbit (who is actually a jack rabbit , which is actually a hare) has their own story to tell, but we will start the rabbit’s story here…

The rabbit has traveled a long distance and just wants a safe place to rest. They come across the Mo’shroom, who eyes the rabbit with curiosity and trepidation. The rabbit decides this is the safest place to rest and curls up at the base of the Mo’shroom. The Mo’shroom likes this! No climbing, no clawing, no biting, just soft and warm. When the rabbit wakes up, the Mo’shroom tries to greet the rabbit, but they only know how to yell. The rabbit isn’t fazed at all and greets the Mo’shroom in return which startles the poor fungi and he tries to run away…. ever seen a mushroom run? They are not very good at it.

The Mo’shroom is very happy to have made a friend. They wonder is other friends can be made. Snails are not much for socializing, but the Mo’shroom does not know this. The snail tries to leave, but they come back thinking the Mo’shroom wants to play only to find the Mo’shroom upset at him.

The end….

Now, I can start bulking up my story!. My biggest challenge is to make sure I don’t get lost in the details. I want to keep the storyline and artwork simple, but I have so many thoughts and ideas that I want to run with. I also have another story on the backburner involving the rabbit and my saguaro monsters.

I hope you have enjoyed my story so far and stick around to find out what (and who) makes the Mo’shroom tick.
