‘Cause you got Personality!

I have created profiles of my main characters so that you can understand their mannerisms and, maybe, even relate to them.

My favorite thing about sharing my story is hearing which characters my students relate with. I have heard many of them say, “I am totally a Mo’shroom, and you [points at friend] are my rabbit” or “I feel like the Mo’shroom; I want to yell at everything too.”

Which character fits you the best? I am half Mo’shroom and half Rabbit. I am very socially awkward and very emotional, but, I am also empathic and accepting.

The Mo’shroom

This cute lil’ monster is is my favorite and they should be as they are the reason for doing all of this. There are aspects of this character that are a collaboration of my children, my students, and myself. *

The pivotal point in my story is when the Mo’shroom meets the rabbit. The rabbit just wants a nice place to rest and the Mo’shroom just wants to be left alone, so you can imagine how happy both of them are with this agreeable arrangement!

This is the point where the Mo’shroom begins to interact with other creatures, facing their fears and their emotions. They stumble on the way but their efforts are rewarded with an unexpected friendship.

* This is a work of fiction. Characters in the Mo’shroom story are the product of my imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

The Rabbit

The rabbit is such a sweet character. I have another story on the back burner that features the rabbit, who is from the Sonoran Desert, where I live.

The rabbit found it challenging to make friends with spikey cactus (who are monsters like the mushroom), venomous snakes, and lizards who refused to share a shady rock. The rabbit, decided that maybe a new place was in order.

This is how the rabbit met the mushroom monster.

The Squirrel

The squirrel’s appearance was the very first big interaction with the Mo’shroom and it didn’t end well. Maybe, if the squirrel had climbed a tree instead, they could have been friends.

I plan on having this cute lil’ guy come back for some sassy fun!

The Rat

I am not sure about my plans are with this cute rodent, but I do know that they should watch out for that cheese…

Yeap! It’s a monster!
