The Mo’shroom, More of the Original Story!

This has been a busy week! I hope you have also been super productive.

I have been transferring more of my original story to Clip Studio Paint. This section of the story doesn’t have a written story as I feel words aren’t really needed. This might be because I am a visual person. I plan on adding something to my second version of this story, but for now, it is a picture book and I’m okay with that. Maybe it can be a coloring book? Thoughts?

At the beginning of the story, the Mo’shroom has already dealt with a spider. They did not like those sticky webs! But now a butterfly wants to rest on their cap. Would you want someone taking a break on top of you? I know I don’t and neither does the Mo’shroom. They yell at the butterfly to get off of them (the mushroom only knows how to yell at this point). The butterfly is startled and leaves the Mo’shroom be.

But then ladybugs come along, and then a snail, a rat, and even some birds tried to nest on top of them. A squirrel comes along which peeks the Mo’shroom’s curiosity only to end up being climbed on like a tree.

I have spent some part of this week drawing some of the other characters in the story that interact with the Mo’shroom. I have started with the rabbit, the squirrel, and the rat. I thought it would be a great idea to create character profiles so that viewers can understand their personalities, behaviors, and interactions better. Each character is quite unique, so I am excited to share this with you soon.

I have also been making sure to post on Instagram and Facebook, which I added a professional/public page to my account. Blogging and posting has always been a challenge to me and here I am, working on three different platforms. It’s been a huge learning curve more me and has been a lot for me to take in, but I am super happy about it all. And to top it off, I have designed a new business card and designed my first set of stickers. They will be available for purchase soon!
